By accessing talkmaze.com or enrolling in TalkMaze services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TalkMaze.
TalkMaze provides online 1-on-1 communication and public speaking coaching for children ages 5 to 17. All sessions are conducted virtually via video conferencing. Services are provided to children under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Our services are intended for children between the ages of 7 and 17. By enrolling, the parent or legal guardian confirms they have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the child and consent to the child participating in sessions.
New students are entitled to one free trial session. The trial includes a personalized assessment and feedback. TalkMaze reserves the right to decline enrollment following a trial session at its discretion.
Sessions are billed at $37 per class, invoiced monthly based on the number of sessions scheduled in that month. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. We accept major credit cards. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.
We require 4 weeks written notice to cancel your enrollment. Notice must be sent to hello@talkmaze.com. Sessions scheduled within the 4-week notice period remain billable. Individual session cancellations require 24 hours notice; sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full.
All participants — students, parents, and coaches -- are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. TalkMaze reserves the right to terminate services without refund for conduct that is abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
All TalkMaze curriculum materials, lesson content, and resources are the intellectual property of TalkMaze and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent.
Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and coaching review purposes. By enrolling, you consent to the recording and internal use of session recordings. Recordings are not shared with third parties.
TalkMaze is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
