TalkMaze ("we", "our", "us") operates talkmaze.com and provides online 1-on-1 communication coaching for children. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and the children in our care. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect: parent/guardian first name, child's first name, email address, and phone number when you register for a free trial or subscribe to our communications. We also collect booking and session information through our scheduling platform (Teachworks), payment information through Stripe (for enrolled families), and audio/video recordings of coaching sessions for quality assurance, training, and progress tracking.
We use your information to: schedule and deliver coaching sessions, send program updates and educational content via email, follow up on trial bookings, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
TalkMaze serves children between the ages of 5 and 17. All accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. By enrolling, parents/guardians consent to the recording of coaching sessions for quality assurance, training, and AI-powered summary generation. Recordings may be processed using secure artificial intelligence tools to automatically generate summaries for internal review, progress tracking, and program improvement. Recordings are not shared with third parties outside of these purposes.
By enrolling, parents/guardians grant TalkMaze the right to use the child's name, photo, video recordings, and testimonials in marketing materials, websites, and promotional content without compensation. These promotional uses are distinct from internal recordings described above. Consent for promotional use may be withdrawn at any time by submitting a written request to hello@talkmaze.com.
By submitting your email, you consent to receive communications from TalkMaze. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@talkmaze.com.
When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from TalkMaze regarding trial bookings, class scheduling and reminders, enrollment updates, account notifications, and occasional promotional offers related to TalkMaze programs. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
What we collect: Your mobile phone number, the time and date you opted in, and your message history with us (for support and compliance purposes).
How we use it: We use your mobile information to deliver the messages you opted in to receive, to provide customer support, to comply with legal obligations, and to improve our messaging service.
No third-party sharing for marketing. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile data with subcontractors (such as our SMS messaging service provider) strictly as needed to deliver the messages you signed up for.
Frequency and cost: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any TalkMaze text message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@talkmaze.com.

We retain your personal information for as long as your relationship with TalkMaze is active, or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@talkmaze.com.
