The world is a better place now than it will be in 100 years.
It is impossible for Earth to be in a better stage 100 years from now.

In the future, the world will probably be destroyed due to new technologies. Humankind will become lazier and lazier.

In principle, what the definition of a "better world", would be one wherein which people can have a more fulfilling and happy lives. Happiness should be the metric we use when discussing this topic as that is what ultimately allows for the betterment of not only our world, but those living on it. A happy populous requires a clean space to live in, food to eat, shelter, and water to survive. These requirements not only require humans to respect the environment and the world in general, but respect each other. These people, in the future, would not only live happy, but ones wherein which they felt they accomplished something. Our world right now, runs rampant with such societal issues as widespread poverty, and political strife. Investments in clean energy, futuristic ai, and a higher living standard through this technology is the only conclusion. Discard the dystopian society that proposition presents to you of a society where we are run by robot overlords. That is simply an untrue assumption, as we already know that Ai is in effect now, and we have shown that we can control it. We have shown, that because of these many dystopian theories, we are very cautious of technological development. The only thing required of us, is to continue the seamless development of technology and allow for these life-saving (literally) technologies to reach everyone. The only thing that technology has brought us for hundreds of years, has been greater standards of living, and generally less suffering. On a last note, there is the argument for the proposition that involves there being no conflict for humanity to overcome in a future of lazy humans babysat by technology, but there will always be some conflict for humans to overcome, which of course, will be something much more imaginative, and complex than we could understand now.
