Solo Acting and Interpretation

Are you a speech competitor, theater student, or debater looking to pick up new skills to improve your performances? If so, TalkMaze's first ever acting workshop is for you!

Join our "Solo Acting and Interpretation" workshop free of cost, on Wednesday, January 19th at 5pm PST!

Led by TalkMaze speech coach Emma McCormick, this workshop will consist of a short lecture, followed by an opportunity to present practice monolouges, putting your new skills into practice. Participants will get to hear live feedback and will leave the workshop with a better understanding of solo acting and interpretation events.

Some of the skills participants will get to practice include

  • Fleshing out the background of their characters for more realistic performances.
  • Bringing genuine emotion into your performances.
  • Understanding your character's objectives.
